Behind Ryft Golf: Why We Built the All-in-One Accessory

The story behind Ryft Golf — why we got tired of carrying five things to do one job, and how we engineered a single tool to replace them.

Every Ryft Golf accessory started with the same frustration: a wet towel clipped to a bag, a divot tool buried in a pocket, a ball marker that rolled into the rough, and a handful of tees scattering across the cart floor. Five separate items. One simple goal: keep the round flowing.

The problem with how golfers carry gear

We surveyed over 200 golfers in our first year. Three numbers stuck:

• 87% said they'd lost a ball marker in the past month
• 62% carried two divot tools (one in the bag, one they kept finding in old jackets)
• 94% said they'd skipped repairing a ball mark because their tool wasn't accessible

The pattern was clear. Golfers don't need better accessories. They need fewer accessories that work better together.

Designing the all-in-one

We started with the question: what's the absolute minimum a golfer needs in their pocket on every hole?

The answer was four things: a way to repair the green, mark the ball, dry the club, and hold a few tees. Everything else lives in the bag.

So we engineered one tool that does all four:

• Stainless steel divot prongs that won't bend in cold ground
• A magnetic ball marker that locks in place — no more rolled coins
• A waffle-weave microfiber towel with a built-in carabiner
• An integrated tee holder

One pocket. One tool. Every hole.

What we left out

We deliberately didn't add: a built-in rangefinder, a Bluetooth chip, a brand logo the size of a coaster. The product is small, dark, and stays out of the way. Like every good tool, it disappears until you need it.

Built for the round, not the marketing

Every Ryft Golf product is tested for at least 50 rounds before it ships. We've replaced the prong design twice. We've changed the magnet strength. We've tweaked the towel weave three times. The version you'll get is version six.

That's the only thing we promise: it's the version that works.
